Pre-foundation

How to build a construction? Level the construction stake. The ground needs to be perfectly straight and flat. The preparation of the ground is important as it will be the base of the building. A weak pre-foundation means a weak construction.

Foundation

Pour the concrete foundation. Add rebar or mesh to the concrete. Adding the additional steel for support will strengthen the building’s foundation and reduce the chances of cracking or damage. Finish pouring the concrete and let it set for 24 hours. After the metal reinforcement is set, fill the wood forms the rest of the way with concrete and then brush off any excess to ensure the surface is perfectly flat. After the foundation is set it is important to add a waterproof coating to prevent water and moisture from entering the building.

Floor

After the foundation is set and a waterproof coating is applied underneath you can start with putting in your floor. It is recommended to warmth insulate in between your foundation and floor.

Wall

Frame the exterior walls. On larger buildings, however, you’ll need to build the wall frames directly onto the foundation. Install the roof trusses. Attach them to the tops of the frame walls, lining up the trusses with the studs. Larger building may utilize a different roof framing, but trusses are the most common for small structures. Install exterior walls on the wall frames. Insulate in between the walls and or insulate the exterior walls to prevent water and moisture from entering your building.

Roof

Install the roof decking. You can start by nailing wood into place on the roof to be covered and then shingled, or you may choose to use single piece metal roofing for buildings like sheds or garages. Put in the insulation if applicable. Sheds and some garages are often not insulated, but if your building will be, there are a number of options to choose from. Blanket insulation is the most common for new construction and can be unrolled between the studs of the walls and stapled into place. For this you can use for example an epoxy coating as it’s waterproof.

Column

On larger buildings, however, you’ll need to build the wall frames directly onto the foundation. Whenever there are multiple levels it is important to use suitable materials to achieve a strong bonding.

Ground

The area around the building is important as well. If the ground is not built properly or has a lack of insulation the chances of water entering the building gets higher. This can cause water and moisture problems which will lead to mold and rotting the building.

Lift

When a lift is installed in a building it is important to use suitable materials to achieve a strong bonding. Problems occur after time if the insulation is not done properly. For this reason it is advised to use an epoxy resin to fill in all gaps.

C E Joints

When a construction is built there will also be concrete Expansion joints to take away some pressure caused by movement. The larger a building is the more concrete expansion joints you will likely find. It is important to insulate the area around the concrete expansion joint to prevent water and moisture entering the building.

Drainage

Drainage system will be placed all around a construction. This can be outside, on the roof, floors, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and so on. It is important to seal the area around the drainage system to prevent leaking. Fill in the gaps and make sure to use a suitable product with a strong adhension. his way the building will be protected and leakage is prevented

Windows- door

Finally when most of the things in the construction is done, the windows and doors will be placed. The construction now has its raw frame. If all parts are done properly the construction can be happily used for hundreds of years.

Biobased products based on Pico Technology

Pico Technology is based on a technology 1000 times smaller than Nano. Pores are available in different surfaces and vary in sizes. This means we can reach the pores deeper than others and can offer a better protection. This comes with a long-term warranty of 20+ years. Biobased technology is the future! The world is getting more conscious and cares more about earth. It is our responsibility to take care and make sure we don´t harm. We as Logic Chemie keep developing our products and make sure that our products are as biobased and durable as possible.
